Leaving Tokyo at 19, I arrived in New York with one suitcase and no real ability to communicate. What I found there changed the way I work. People asked who you were and what you stood for. If you didn’t have an answer, you disappeared.
That experience became the foundation of everything. The talk “Power of Interconnection” was my attempt to share it—how navigating between two cultures, two languages, two ways of thinking, became not a limitation but a way of seeing.
