BOTANICA

BOTANICA is a collection of aroma diffusers designed for Pzhen, a Hong Kong-based maker known for hand-crafted ceramics and their own fragrance blends — later rebranded as Bloomylotus. It was their craft that drew me in.

Each piece in the collection starts from a different observation of nature. A bud holding its energy just before it opens. The stillness of fog, and the quiet it brings to a room. The repeating geometry of a honeycomb, suggesting the many layers of a single scent. A lotus leaf, wide and generous, guiding the diffuser’s smoke outward.

Natural forms carry memory. Across cultures, across languages, a shape drawn from nature speaks to something people already know.
