A bird perches for a brief pause. Wherever it lands, it moves freely. And when a small bird happens to settle nearby, it brings a fleeting warmth, a quiet joy.

It was never about the lamp. It was about that moment.

It began in 2013 as ALIGHT—a bird landing, a light coming on. The name was already taken by another lamp. So it became TIKI, after the dog at my family home, who was always by my side. Established & Sons released it in 2014, with a cable. The name changed; what it was about didn’t.
